Our Commitment
Every placard is custom-made for a specific person. We take that seriously. If something goes wrong on our end — defective engraving, a QR code that won't scan, damage in shipping — we will make it right. Full stop.
30-Day QR Code Guarantee
If your QR code does not scan properly upon receipt, we will replace your placard free of charge within 30 days of delivery. No questions asked. Email us at hello@qrlastinglegacy.com with a photo of the issue and your order number.
Placard Refunds
Because each placard is custom-engraved with a specific person's name, dates, and QR code, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for:
- Change of mind after production has begun
- Incorrect information submitted at the time of order (spelling errors in names, wrong dates)
- Damage caused after delivery (weather, improper installation, vandalism)
We will issue a full refund or free replacement for:
- Placards that arrive damaged due to shipping
- Engraving errors that are our fault (we made the placard differently than what was ordered)
- QR codes that do not scan within 30 days of delivery
- Orders that are lost in transit and not delivered
Hosting Cancellation
Hosting subscriptions (monthly at $6.99/mo or annual at $69.99/yr) may be cancelled at any time.
- Monthly hosting: Cancel before your next billing date to avoid the next charge. Access continues through the end of the paid period.
- Annual hosting: Cancel at any time. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused months of an annual subscription.
- To cancel, email hello@qrlastinglegacy.com with your order number and the word "cancel."
When hosting expires or is cancelled, the memorial page associated with that placard will be taken offline. The QR code on the physical placard will no longer resolve to an active page. The placard itself is yours to keep.
Order Cancellation Before Production
If you need to cancel your order before production has begun, contact us immediately at hello@qrlastinglegacy.com. Production typically begins within 1–2 business days of order placement. If we have not yet begun engraving, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Disputes
We want to resolve every issue fairly and quickly. Before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer, please contact us directly — we respond within 2 business days and will work to make things right.
