1. Overview & Acceptance

Welcome to QR Lasting Legacy ("we," "us," or "our"), a veteran-owned business based in San Antonio, Texas. By accessing our website at qrlastinglegacy.com, purchasing any of our products or services, or submitting any information to us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

2. Our Services

QR Lasting Legacy provides the following products and services:

• Memorial Placards — Custom weatherproof QR code placards designed for attachment to headstones and burial markers
• Hosted Memorial Pages — Digital memorial pages hosted on qrlastinglegacy.com featuring photos, voice recordings, video links, GPS navigation, and tribute guestbooks
• Monthly & Annual Hosting — Ongoing hosting of memorial pages at $6.99/month or $69.00/year
• Family Legacy Digital Vault — (Coming soon) Multi-generational family archive preserving unlimited loved ones in a single account
• Date Reminders — Automated email reminders sent to registered family members on birthdays, anniversaries, and special dates

3. Privacy & Data Protection

QR Lasting Legacy takes your privacy seriously. We collect only the information necessary to provide our services, including names, dates, email addresses, shipping addresses, photos, audio recordings, and video links.

What we collect:

• Personal information of the deceased (name, dates, biography)
• Contact information of purchasing family members
• Photos, voice recordings, and video links you upload
• Family email addresses for reminder services
• Shipping and billing information for placard orders

What we never do:

• Sell your personal information to third parties
• Use your data for advertising purposes
• Share your information without your explicit consent
• Contact you with unsolicited marketing communications

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@qrlastinglegacy.com. We comply with applicable U.S. privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

4. Photo, Audio & Media Rights

By uploading any photos, voice recordings, videos, or other media to QR Lasting Legacy, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal right to share, display, and distribute that content
• The content does not infringe on any third-party copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• You have obtained necessary permissions from any identifiable individuals in the media
• The content does not violate any applicable laws

QR Lasting Legacy reserves the right to remove any content reported as infringing without prior notice. We are not liable for any copyright infringement resulting from media you upload.

5. Hosting & Service Continuity

Memorial pages remain live and accessible as long as the hosting subscription is active. Hosting is selected and billed as part of the same checkout as your placard order:

• Monthly hosting — $6.99/month, renews automatically every month on the date you signed up
• Annual hosting — $69.99/year, renews automatically once a year on the date you signed up

If a subscription lapses:

• We will send reminder notices to all registered family emails before taking any action
• Memorial pages will not be permanently deleted without a minimum of 90 days notice
• We will make multiple attempts to contact registered family members before any data removal
• You may reactivate your subscription at any time to restore full access

QR Lasting Legacy reserves the right to modify hosting pricing with a minimum of 90 days written notice to all active subscribers.

6. 30-Day QR Code Guarantee

While we strive for excellence in every product we sell, accidents in production do happen. If your QR code does not scan properly upon receipt, QR Lasting Legacy will replace your placard free of charge, provided you contact us at hello@qrlastinglegacy.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo or video demonstrating the issue.

This guarantee covers manufacturing defects affecting QR code functionality only. It does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, exposure to extreme weather or physical force after delivery, vandalism, or normal wear over time. This guarantee does not affect any other rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

7. Cemetery & Headstone Installation Disclaimer

QR Lasting Legacy placard products are designed for attachment to headstones, burial markers, mausoleum walls, and memorial benches using weatherproof peel-and-stick adhesive backing.

QR Lasting Legacy:

• Is not responsible for any damage to headstones, burial markers, or cemetery property resulting from placard installation or removal
• Is not liable for any fines, penalties, or removal costs imposed by cemetery or memorial park authorities
• Does not guarantee that all cemeteries permit aftermarket attachments to headstones
• Recommends consulting your cemetery management office before installation

Our placards are also suitable for indoor display on mantels, in shadow boxes, or in any home memorial setting where cemetery restrictions do not apply.

8. Flower & Gift Delivery Disclaimer

Memorial pages may include a link to send flowers or gifts through a third-party florist network. This flower and gift delivery service is provided directly by that third-party network, not by QR Lasting Legacy.

While we have selected a partner with a strong industry track record, the ordering, fulfillment, and delivery of flowers and gifts are entirely outside of QR Lasting Legacy's control. QR Lasting Legacy:

• Is not responsible for delivery delays, missed deliveries, incorrect orders, or fulfillment errors
• Does not process payment for, or earn revenue from, the flower and gift orders themselves beyond a standard referral commission
• Recommends contacting the third-party florist network directly for any order support, refunds, or delivery concerns

If you experience an issue with a flower or gift order placed through a memorial page link, please reach out to the florist network's own customer service for resolution.

9. Genealogy Data Sharing

QR Lasting Legacy may offer optional integration with genealogy research platforms including Ancestry.com, FamilySearch.org, MyHeritage, and FindAGrave.

Genealogy data sharing is strictly opt-in. We will never share your family's information with any genealogy platform without your explicit written consent.

• You may consent to full sharing (names, dates, relationships, photos)
• You may consent to limited sharing (names and dates only)
• You may decline all sharing and keep your family's legacy private
• You may change your sharing preferences at any time by contacting hello@qrlastinglegacy.com

QR Lasting Legacy is not responsible for how third-party genealogy platforms store, display, or use your family's information once shared. Revocation of consent will not affect any data already shared prior to your request.

10. Payment & Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

Refund Policy:

• Placard orders — Full refund available within 48 hours of order placement, before production begins. Once a placard enters production, refunds are not available for the placard itself
• Hosting subscriptions — Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. No partial refunds for unused months. Annual subscriptions may be refunded on a pro-rated basis within 30 days of payment
• Defective products — If your placard arrives damaged or defective, we will replace it at no charge. Please contact hello@qrlastinglegacy.com with photos within 7 days of receipt

Military & First Responder Discount:

The SERVE25 discount code provides 25% off placard purchases only. It does not apply to hosting subscriptions. No proof of service is required — we trust you. The discount may not be combined with other promotional offers.

11. Disclaimers & Limitations

QR Lasting Legacy provides memorial preservation and digital hosting services only. Nothing on our website, in our communications, or in our products constitutes legal, medical, financial, or estate planning advice.

Our services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we make every effort to maintain 99.9% uptime for hosted memorial pages, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from technical failures, and we strongly encourage families to maintain their own copies of uploaded photos and recordings.

QR Lasting Legacy's total liability to any customer shall not exceed the total amount paid by that customer in the 12 months preceding any claim.
